Registration

  1. Where/how do I register?

    Online registration is available via active.com (click the red register button in the sidebar). Early on-site registration for Tour de Lis will occur on Friday, May 11th, from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Popp Fountain in City Park.

  2. Will early on-site registration be available before June 16th (New Date)?

    Yes, early on-site registration for Tour de Lis will occur on Friday, May 11th, from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Popp Fountain in City Park.

  3. How old do I have to be to register? To ride?

    All ages can participate in the walk/run, but you must be at least 12 years old to ride.

Fundraising

  1. Who benefits from the funds raised by Tour de Lis?

    Proceeds from the 2012 Tour de Lis will benefit our both national beneficiary the Lance Armstrong Foundation and the Greater N.O. Cancer Survivor Community,

  2. Is there a minimum amount I’m required to raise for the Tour De Lis?

    We encourage each individual to set their own personal fundraising goal and do their best to achieve it. Fundraising prizes will be awarded to the top individual and team.

  3. To whom do I make checks payable and where do I send them?

    You can make a donation to Tour De Lis by mailing in a check or bringing a check to the event. You can also donate on-line at www.tourdelis.com. All checks should be made payable to Tour de Lis. Keep a tally of your donations to track your fundraising results, but mail checks as soon as possible to:

  4. How is my fundraising credited?

    If you want credit for your fundraising, you must turn in a completed Tour de Lis donation envelope with your offline and online donations, matching gift forms and donation amounts on ride day.

  5. Are there awards for the top fundraisers?

    Tour de Lis will be awarding top fundraising prizes!

  6. When is the deadline for fundraising?

    The deadline for turning in all fundraising dollars is June 16th (New Date), at noon at Tour de Lis. For further information, please contact us.

  7. What are Matching Gift Programs?

    Many employers have matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. Ask your employer or HR department for more information. Include matching gift amount and forms with your donation envelope.
